I had an amazing stay at this hidden gem. The lodge was even more stunning in person than in the pictures. The spaciousness of the lodge allowed my family and I to move around comfortably, and the location surrounded by trees provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The small bench outside was a lovely touch, where we spent moments enjoying the natural surroundings and trying to spot some squirrels. The lodge was also equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the fully working kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Additionally, the soft white bath towels provided added a touch of luxury. The owner, Scott, was incredibly helpful and available whenever we needed assistance, making our experience even more enjoyable. Although the lodge could use some maintenance and updated outside furniture, it did not hinder our overall experience. I would highly recommend Woodland Retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting. I can't wait to return to this wonderful lodge in the future.

Loved having access to a balcony, because who wouldn't want to feel like Rapunzel? , the free private parking makes me feel like a VIP. Oh, and towels were included too, so no need to bring my own beach towel for the balcony!
Towels were too fluffy, made it hard to dry off after my luxurious bubble baths.

The Woodland Retreat in Louth was such a cozy little spot nestled among the trees. The room had a warm and inviting vibe, making me feel right at home. I loved the rustic decor and the comfy bed - it was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud!
The only thing that didn't quite tickle my fancy was the two bathrooms with showers. Personal preference, really, but I would have preferred one big bathroom with a tub to soak in.

What an amazing stay! The lodge was really spacious and perfect for our large family. The location was ideal, tucked away in a peaceful spot surrounded by trees. We loved being able to explore the nearby towns of Louth, Mablethorpe, and Alford. The lodge had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to soft white towels. We especially enjoyed sitting on the small bench outside, trying to spot squirrels. a fantastic city break with plenty of space and convenience.
There were a couple of minor issues. The lodge's decor felt a bit dated and didn't match the rustic ambiance.
